Silkscreen Printing

Silkscreen (or serigraph) prints are great for graphic designers, artists and illustrators due to their unique 'handmade' aesthetic.

We aim to take the hassle out of producing gallery-quality print runs, saving you time and ultimately enabling you to concentrate on bigger and better things.

The process of creating a silkscreen print, although extremely rewarding can be a messy and labour-intensive affair.

We work with some very serious and experienced printers who have produced prints for some top artists including D*Face and even corporate clients like Rockstar Games and know how to finish a print to the very highest standard.

Our printers can help you transform your artwork into a professional fine art silkscreen print - offering an additional artworking service (if required) to re-touch your artwork and make your design print-ready, as well as helping to select Pantone colours to match your artwork and desired finish.

Silkscreen printing can also be used in combination with digital Giclée prints which is a great way to enhance a piece and add an extra special touch with finishes such as glitter or varnish.

Whether it's selecting the right paper and finish to mixing bespoke metallic or fluro inks, we've got you covered!

Give us a call today and let us know how we can help with your project.

Workflow

  • Contact us to go over your requirements, including your desired paper, Pantone (or spot) colours, as well as the size of the run.

  • We'll assess the details and artwork files you provide us, to give you an estimate with a detailed breakdown of costs.

  • Once you have approved the estimate and given the go ahead, at that point before we proceed in creating any proofs we will require a deposit to cover the costs of creating the screens and any artworking required.

  • Artwork is then printed according to colour-channels (or layers) onto 300 micron acetate using special UV inks, and these transparencies will be used to create the screens.

  • We can then create full-colour proofs for you to inspect and approve or request amends, before the final payment for completion and delivery of the finished edition.

Turnaround is usually around one week for the proofs and another five working days for the final run. Of course if you do have a specific deadline we will endeavour to meet it.
